We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your data for advertising.

Third-Party Services

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on our secure cloud server and locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. We use industry-standard security practices to protect data in transit and at rest.

We retain your account data as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data is removed from our servers.

Screen Time and Family Controls

Read to Unlock uses Apple's Family Controls framework to block selected apps via iOS Screen Time. We do not access or collect any Screen Time data beyond the specific permissions required to block the apps you select. This data is managed locally by iOS.

Children's Privacy

Read to Unlock is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at support@readtounlock.org.

You can delete your account and associated data directly in the app or by contacting us.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Significant changes will be communicated via the app or email. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
